2nd May 2014
At 14:43 "JOHN D SPICER" was launched on service for the very first time from her new home to a report of a 35ft yacht with 2 pob 10mls north of Porthdinllaen which had suffered engine failure.
30th March 2014
Porthdinllaen RNLI volunteers received a request by Holyhead Coastguard to launch the Tamar class lifeboat at 3.15pm to an injured fisherman on the Lleyn Peninsular coast.
19th January 2014
At 16:11 the station boarding boat was launched to a broken down jet ski off Nefyn point. The casualty was safely towed ashore with boarding boat returning to station at 16:37
28th November 2013
At 14:34 John D Spicer slipped her mooring to a "MAYDAY" from fishing vessel Mellisa stating that they were sinking one half mile N/E of Porthdinllaen with 3 pob.
15th November 2013
At 17:24 John D Spicer slipped her mooring to the aid of a 42ft yacht with engine failure 6mls N/E of Porthdinllaen with 4 pob. After attaching a towing rope to the casualty it was safely towed to Caernarfon to be put on a safe mooring. Lifeboat returned to station at 21:25.
